I discovered the power of the pen in middle school. It doesn’t smudge like pencil and makes your homework look cool. 
As an adult, it is my firm belief that all stories help us meet our human need to be heard, understood, accepted and loved. 
Whether it is thru tales told around a campfire, pages turned, screens swiped or images on a screen, stories allow us to understand ourselves and the world better.
